Let it snow!

We are getting MORE snow today. This year we've gotten so much stinkin' snow it's ridiculous. My backyard has over 2 feet of snow in it. We were supposed to get just 1-3 inches today but the weather people are wrong once again and we will get more than what they forecast. I am SO ready for spring to come now.

Today my mom was here so we took a trip to Wal Mart and did some leisurely (sp?) shopping. That was nice. Usually I have to hurry up because DH is with me and he hates Wal Mart. Today I found some great deals on clothes for Madeline. I think I spent less than $15 and got like 4 shirts and 2 pairs of pants. Gotta love the clearance racks!! LOL
I also was able to finally get myself a new computer desk. I bought the comuter armoire that Wal Mart carries. I am so excited and can't wait to get it put together. I also bought a 5 shelf book shelf. I have to work almost 19 hours this weekend so I won't be able to do anything w/ my new goodies until Monday. :::pout::: Oh well, I've waited this long, what's a few more days??
My mom and I carried in the boxes of furniture and OY!! it totally wore me out. The computer armoire is super, super heavy. I'm still weak from lifting and carrying the bookshelf up to my bedroom. I am in such bad shape. LOL Where's a big strong man when you need one??

Now I have to pack up my current desk and clean it all up. I'm going to put my new desk and bookshelf in my bedroom because my living room is so small. That will make this room less cluttered and messy. I can't wait to get it all done!!! :o)

That's my day so far. Love shopping!!!! Makes the day feel so much better.

Friday Five

1. What did you have for breakfast this morning? If you didn't have breakfast, why not?
My mom was here so we went to IHOP for breakfast. I had 3 buttermilk blueberry pancakes w/ blueberries on top. YUM!! :o)

2. What's your favorite cereal?
My new favorite cereal is the Cheerios w/ the fruit in them. Sooo Gooood!!

3. How often do you eat out? Do you want that to change?
We eat out about once a week. Mostly it's fast food because feeding 5 people at a nice restaurant gets very expensive. Do I want that to change??? YES! I wish we could eat out more often. I hate cooking because I have the smallest kitchen in the world!!!!!!

4. What do you plan on having for dinner tonight? Got a recipe for that?
Not a clue. I have to work so I'll eat after I get off work. Mostly likely I'll have Wendy's single combo w/ cheese.

5. What's your favorite restaurant? Why?
I think it's a toss-up between The Olive Garden and Bertucci's because I LOVE Italian food and the food at these 2 places is FANTASTIC!!!!!

I feel like the worlds worst mom today. My kids can just totally get on my nerves in no time at all. I am not a morning person by any means so I am naturally cranky in the mornings. But, getting the kids ready today put me in a horrible mood. Having to get after them constantly to get their teeth brushed and stop playing around and to 'Get Dressed!!' over and over and over. Everything they did annoyed me (my fault, not theirs) so by the time they were ready to leave, I was in such a pissy mood, I was just yelling at all of them.

Then, to make things just that much more fun, my neighbor wasn't going to school today. My neighbor offered to take my kids to school w/ them so I wouldn't have to take everyone out during the winter (this started last year when I had 2 kids at home and only one in school) so every day they ride w/ my neighbor. They let me know when their daughter is sick and they won't be going and I'm totally fine w/ that. But, last night I asked them if their daughter was better and to find out if they'd be going to school today and they said yes. So I was not expecting to have to get all of us ready and out the door this morning. Much to my surprise they did not answer the door when my kids knocked so I had to run around like a mad woman and get me and Samantha ready to leave and get them to school on time. Needless to say I was a total b*tch to be around this morning. My poor kids probably like going to school because it keeps them away from me all day. LOL

I sure hope my mood improves today.

This-or-That Tuesday

1. Morning or night person?
Most definately I am a NIGHT person! I despise mornings!!!

2. Heavy or light sleeper?
I am a heavy sleeper. So bad that my kids have missed school because I did not hear the alarm go off!!

3. Remember your dreams or not?
I used to remember my dreams but not anymore. I remember a few of them now and then but not often.

4. Do you need a lot of sleep, or just a little?
I hate to say it but I need a lot of sleep. It makes me feel very lazy but that's just how I have always been.

5. Do you need something like a nightlight or TV to sleep, or do you prefer complete darkness?
I have to have a dark room to sleep. The only way I can sleep w/ noise or light is during the day when I'm really tired for whatever reason.

6. Flannel sheets or some other kind?
Any sheet is fine w/ me. We could never afford to spend much on sheets so ours are crappy. Flannel sheets would be great right now though here in New Hampshire!!! LOL

7. One pillow, or more?
I use one pillow but it has to be fluffy, not flat. If it's flat, I hurt all over.

8. Bedroom door opened or closed at night?
We keep it closed to keep the cats out. DH does not like the cats walking over the bed. Well, he does not like the cats, period. LOL

9. Wrap yourself into blankets like a cocoon, or just cover yourself with them?
I just cover myself in the blankets.

10. Alarm clock: wake to music or buzzer?
I used to wake up to the radio but I eventually stopped hearing it and I'd oversleep so now DH puts the buzzer on for me so I hear it.

Just rambling...
I am very tired today. I could barely stand to be there for the last hour or two at work. DH came and picked me up and I was soooo happy to see him! I went to get my stuff so I could go home and this guy comes over and starts asking questions about Epson printers. I'm trying to answer his questions and show him some information that I have in my 'Epson Field Binder' and he just grabs my binder from me and starts flipping through it and asking questions. I try to answer his questions and he throws another question at me before I could even give him the answer to the other question. Then he just starts throwing out information about this and that and getting all technical on me and then he says 'Ok, well I gotta go look at.......' and he walks off. I was so pissed at him I just wanted to slap him. Jackass!!! I hate people like that.

I am trying to find a new template for this weblog but I can't find one that really 'talks' to me. Ya know? I've looked at dozens of different ones and I can't find one that I really, really like. Maybe I am just too indecisive or picky- I don't know. I'll find one tomorrow I think and just use it because I really am not liking this one anymore- it got old fast. LOL If anyone can suggest some REALLY good templates- I'm open to suggestions.
